First Responder Meeting and Training will be the third Thursday following the Fire Monthly meeting every month at 6:00PM.
Next Monthly Meeting, training and clean-up will be the first Monday of the Month.
At Approximately 1:32am Brasher-Winthrop Fire and Tri-Town Rescue were alerted to a residential fire located at 88 Converse Road in the Town of Stockholm. Within minutes of the alarm Brasher-Winthrop Chief 02-1 requested a full response from West Stockholm Fire and tankers from Parishville and Hopkinton Fort Jackson Fire Departments.
Brasher-Winthrop's Engine 4 was the first piece of fire apparatus to arrive on scene. While utilizing a drop tank from ETA-95 an initial attack of the fire commenced. 15-20 mph winds and single digit temperatures proved challenging for all members on-site.
Due to the size of the residence and the large volume of fire 02-1 requested two draft sites. One on the Elliot Road by West Stockholm's Engine 88 and a second on State Highway 11B by Hopkinton Fort Jackson Fire. An additional tanker was also requested to the scene from Nicholville Fire Department.
Firefighters battled the blaze until around 6:00am.
A garage and two vehicle's were salvaged.
All units were back in-service around 6:30am.

West Stockholm Fire received a land line call at 19:44 for a report of a 1 truck rollover accident with no driver present. 48-2 M. Tuper and 48-4 J. Russell responded to the scene. Units arrived on scene to confirm the driver had self extracted the vehicle with no injuries. Traffic control was provided until a tow truck arrived. All units were back in service at 20:07
West Stockholm Fire was dispatched at 17:47 for a chimney fire on County Rt 47. All equipment responded at the time of alarm. Engine 88 arrived on scene at 17:54 and reported no smoke or flames visible. After investigation it was determined the chimney cap was clogged. West Stockholm Fire was dispatched at 11:10 for a property damage motor vehicle accident at the intersection of West Stockholm-Knapps Station road and Peasant Valley road. Rescue 47 responded at 11:15 and arrived on scene at 11:18 to provide traffic control. All units were back in service at 12:20
West Stockholm Fire was dispatched at 09:03 to a report of a propane tank leaking at a residence. Engine 88 and Rescue 43 responded at 09:06 and arrived on scene at 09:10. Firefighters R. West Stockholm Fire was dispatched to several calls during a storm that had stong gusty winds. The first call came in at 12:28 am and continued on for about 14 hours. Firefighters cleared roadways of downed trees and blocked traffic off to electrical hazards. All units were back in service around 2pm.
West Stockholm Fire was dispatched at 22:42 for a car vs. deer accident with the vehicle smoking on County Rt 47. Engine 88 and Rescue 43 responded at 22:42. Assistant Chief J. All units responded at 18:40 and arrived on scene at 18:55 to find a single wide mobile home with no smoke or flames visible. The cause of the fire was from an overheated dryer outlet that extended below the floor of the structure and mostly extinguished by the homeowner.
